Job Description

We Are Hiring! The Roxbury Latin School is looking for Teaching Fellows.

The Roxbury Latin School will appoint two Penn Teaching Fellows (starting in June) for the 2026–2027 school year. This two-year program enables Fellows to earn an M.S.Ed. from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia while gaining hands-on teaching experience at The Roxbury Latin School in Boston.

Available Areas: Arts, Classics, English, History, Math, Modern Languages (French or Spanish), Science, or STEM.

Program Overview & Responsibilities

The successful candidates will be responsible for:

• Teaching: Teaching up to two classes in their first year with the guidance of faculty mentors.

• Extracurricular Involvement: Participating in two seasons of coaching a team sport or the equivalent in advising an extracurricular activity.

• Professional Development:

  • Benefiting from the coaching of a veteran teacher and a range of unique professional development experiences.

  • Participating in regular seminars dedicated to the exploration of critical issues in education.

• Education: Earning a master’s degree through the University of Pennsylvania concurrently with the fellowship.

Remuneration & Benefits

• Salary: The salary range for this position is $45,000 – $48,000.
